Om specifieke Sentinel data voor nationale toepassingen beschikbaar te stellen zijn er in een aantal Europese landen Collaborative Ground Segments (CGS) opgezet. In Nederland is dit niet opgezet in de vorm van een centraal portaal, omdat grotendeels in de nationale databehoeften kan worden voorzien via andere portalen.
CGS-en beiden minstens Sentinel data aan. Maar een aantal CGS-en bieden veel meer services aan. Zoals cloud processing, tools en visualisatie mogelijkheden.
