Outside Europe, NASA operates several Earth observation missions. In the Earth Data platform, open data is available through catalog, viewers, and API access. A lot of data can be edited and analyzed online in the “Earth data code collaborative” environment.
In addition to the Earth Data platform, NASA also manages the “NASA center for climate simulation”. This platform is specifically aimed at providing high-capacity computing services to NASA-sponsored researchers and engineers. For this purpose, open Earth observation datasets are made available, and users have access to a variety of computer services such as cloud processing, analysis tools, data visualization tools and more.
